Our consultants go to the senior's residence once a month to see if the senior needs anything and checks that the service is working properly for them.  Your senior will not need any computer experience, everything will be provided and set-up to be hands-free.

Introducing the Owner of Visual Senior:

 

Ellen Ferguson is the founder of Visual Senior, a Boca Raton, Florida based company. Ellen lives in Boca Raton with her husband and two children.  Ellen is originally from Pleasantville, New York in Westchester County; where most of her family and friends still live. Ellen's 20+ year career has been in technology in the Telecommunications field. She is the leader of a 4-H youth technology club, and a leader of a high school robotics team. As a leader of these youth organizations, she is required to pass Level 2 Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) background screening with finger prints. In addition, she has a Level 2 FBI background screening and has cleared all background checks required by Homeland Security to be on the “Safe Traveler List” (Global Entry).

Ellen has a passion for working with the youth and the elderly in her community. She has been a resident of Boca Raton, Florida for more than 25 years.


Ellen knows there are many elderly seniors living without family in their area. Her goal is to get as many of these seniors connected with their loved ones using Video Calling.

Our college-educated, trustworthy, technology professionals are individually recruited by the owner of Visual Senior. 

  • All consultants have passed Level 2, FBI background screening.
  • All consultants have been colleagues or acquaintances of the owner of Visual Senior. Most have been known for more than 10 years. 
  • All consultants have shown a great dedication to their own children,  parents, and grandparents. 
  • All consultants will be sure equipment is in order, positioned properly and if needed help the senior to make video calls they may want to initiate.

Seniors do not need any computer experience or knowledge.  They never touch the computer tablet.  They do not even know it is a computer! During the day the tablet displays photos provided by the family. At anytime the photos turn into a live family member on a video call.  Everything is hands-free on the Senior's side. 


The family (on approved list) makes video calls to the Senior. The computer tablet automatically opens in the Senior's living room.
